Michelle Lavallee

Michelle Lavallee, a native of Huron and a 4th generation South Dakotan. Lavalle is the first female CEO of Children’s Home Society in its 127-year history; first female Board Chair of the South Dakota Hall of Fame; second female Board Chair of Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary; and lieutenant governor candidate in 2018. Previously she held executive-level positions at Avera, USD, and Raven Industries. Lavallee received the Women of Excellence Award for Women Mentoring Women, the Tribute to Women Award for Marketing & Innovation, and the Distinguished Service Award from the University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business.
