Faye Sweet

1935-2019

Faye was born on a farm near Cavour, SD, and graduated from Cavour High School in 1935. She was a teacher and retired as a school business manager in Iroquois, SD, for a career of 40 plus years in education. As a mother of two, family, faith, and church were important to Faye. In her late 90’s, she still prepared and printed from her home office 80 bulletins each week for the Iroquois United Methodist Church. She was the first recipient of the Outstanding School Business Manager award given by the South Dakota Association of School Business Officials.
